"I used the services of Care in the Home since January 2009 until September 2010 for my 80 year old mother. After being widowed six years ago, my Mum found it harder to cope with everyday tasks such as shopping and cleaning and lacked regular company and visitors and was reluctant to move out of her home and closer to me, nearly 100 miles away. The Care in the Home ladies took over this role for her – being flexible enough to take her out for lunch with other similar ladies and to local events. My mother was diagnosed with moderately severe dementia in July 2009 and gradually became less mobile and co-operative. The carers treated her with respect and dignity and were excellent at keeping me up to date as issues and concerns arose. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services."

" Your staff members have been helpful, professional and efficient. What more could you ask for? Co-ordinating packages at a distant is very challenging! However, with your liaison and an excellant care team, my brother and i have been able to keep up with an ever changing parental situation. "Thank you again for all your help, your excellent team make all our lives easier."

"I would like to thank everyone who was involved with my mothers care. She was cared for with compassion and dignity and it was greatly appreciated"

" I realise that your carers must sometimes get criticised and go unthanked or praised for doing their jobs well. My mother is not the easiest women to care for and does not except the help she needs However, i would like to say that you do a lot of good and i must specifically thank her regular carer."

" I would like to congratulate you on the service and the carers they are all very good and they should be congratulated for the first class service."

"Thank you to all of you who looked after mum in her home. Mum was so strong willed and independant and determind to stay in her own home but this would not have been possible without your care and support, which was not only appreciated by mum but also by me. It was so reassuring to know that you were calling in every day not only to see to mum's needs but to have a chat and make sure that everything was ok."
" The job you do is such an important one helping the most vulnerable members of society, I know you made a difference to mums life so once again thank you."
