Course Aim:

this course is designed for all Social Care Woprkers to be able to understand dementia.

Course Content:

Background, Recognising Dementia, Causes, What is not Dementia, Person Centred Care, Behaviour that challenges, treatments, Issues for carers, Safeguarding Adults, Mental Capacity Act.

Delivery:

An interactive course which allows discussion, quizzes and build knowledge on subject including legislation.
